I dunno...when I have to carry a shovel or a club in order to defend myself in my own pasture, on my own property...something is not quite right. Hard to love something that wants to rip your face off. :D

The roo picture I posted a few days ago, Ross -breed undetermined, was a wonderful roo and never once displayed aggression. He got plenty of human love, treats, and the opportunity to live out his years surrounded by loving hens and his own kids.
Trade the shovel for a cleaver

I cannot believe I have so much :love in my heart for this New Hampshire Red hen!💋
I LOVE my NHR hen! Shes's so sweet ... and so talkative. She's always the first to come to the open doors/windows when we call and, without fail, jumps up on the half door before you have a chance to open the bottom in the mornings. her name is "GinnyRon," because as a chick, we weren't sure if she was male or female, just that she was definitely a redhead. We planned to shorten the nickname to Ginny or Ron, but she knows her full name and comes when called, so "GinnyRon" she is and remains!

They substituted my nutritional yeast with hot Mexican chili powder 😂 not even close. They said the computer does the substitutions.

Oh dear! Now what to do with all THAT.

70+ cases in my town and 200+ in my county and a few thousand in the surrounding counties.

Nearing 10,000 in my state.
