I feel like the world is changed forever and I am not happy with how it is. At least I am not sick, but I only want to sleep.

I don't much like the way things are either. :hugs

As soon as the banana bread comes out the oven I am headed back to the sewing room. I will prep more masks in case my elastic arrives soon.

Trade the shovel for a cleaver
I've since learned. :D
When I had that particular roo (also below) a neighboring farm said they wanted him and said "everything would be fine" ....as in, I didn't have a clue how to raise chickens but they did. This despite them never having had chickens before I introduced them a year prior.
I warned them and said make a meal out of this guy ASAP. They said they would, but come to find out they thought they could tame him and keep him. Again I warned them and they just shushed me.... that lasted about a week until he nailed her three times and got the hubby four times....once in the face.
Yeah, then they decided to make stew out of him.
But he is sooooo handsome!!! 🥰
He was!
And I hated it when he turned mean. Here's a pic when he was still a cockerel-

Cap, I didn't sleep much at all last night either. Change, yes forever. But positive side... We can start over now, with less mistakes we made in the past. Dear friend, stay positive. Love always, Alexander

:woot For plants from friends.

Usually our Home Depot has tons of racks of veggies this time of year. I don't think they are even getting ANY this year.
To me that is not logical at all.
Might have something to do with seed and plant companies being sold out quick. Might have to do with the disruption of just about everything with this shutdown.

Pretty soon stores will be missing a lot of food items. Saw a article lettuce, spinach etc being plowed under, fields of strawberries rotting, etc. Either can't get packaging material, workers to pick, transport products, places to sell etc. Kinda wonder if farmers will bother growing corn this yr, a lot of corn goes for methanol production and with people not driving no demand for it.
Months from now we'll all be wondering why there isn't canned or frozen produce no jams or jellies.

Making note to be nicer to my blackberry canes and ..... Plant corn, lettuce, beans and sooooo much more!

Taking just one link out of the food chain and the whole thing falls apart!
