I dunno...when I have to carry a shovel or a club in order to defend myself in my own pasture, on my own property...something is not quite right. Hard to love something that wants to rip your face off. :D
One of the worst roosters I've ever had was a hatchery Wellsummer. First it was just the kids occasionally so I quit freeranging them. Then the day he knocked me off my feet into the chicken poop and all I had to defend myself was a flipflop he became soup.
I think it depends on the breeder. The Sandhill Jersey Giants and Red Sussex I had were about the best roosters ever, nicer than hens.
The naked necks I started with from Cackle were pretty nasty too. Now that I have them crossed with Jersey Giants the two naked neck giant roosters I have are very docile.

Uh.... go out to do WHAT? Are kids not allowed outside the house at all right now? They're sure wandering all over the neighborhood here.
In the cities as I understand it kids are not out and about. Here if you are out without good reason then you can be fined or arrested. You're supposed to carry a form with you stating your business.
In the village closest to me I haven't seen any kids out.
I think the idea of letting the kids out is partly to give the parents a break. I expect the longer term aim is to get the schools open again.

I have one from work in case I get pulled over. But people are allowed to shop, drive anyway so I doubt I'll ever have to show it.
I get the impression from what I've read that different states and even counties have differing levels of restrictions in the USA. The major towns here are tightly restricted, where I live there isn't much in the way of police checks until you go to use the motorways. The differing levels of restriction enforcement are in part responsible for Spain's high infection and death rate.

Even different towns... Several close by have facemask requirements and others don't

Face mask are considered useful here if you are an asymptomatic carrier of the virus. With regard to preventing you catching the virus they are next to useless. The wearing of gloves is also mostly pointless. Using a sanitizer or proper washing of hands after shopping for example and of course, not touching your face is believed to work best.
I've seen quite a few people pull their masks down with gloved hands to use a mobile phone, put the phone back in their pockets and replace the mask.
I carry a small bottle of 96% alcohol and a face flannel which is soaked in the alcohol. I wipe my hands with the alcohol and flannel after leaving the shop and wash again with soap and water at the earliest opportunity. The alcohol and rag is also handy for wiping handles etc.
