Thanks for the hug; I've been reassured that the sleep cycle I get (in my VA group) i *very normal* for veteran like me. The stress, hyper vigilant "normal state of being" and the other attributes are going to be with me the rest of my life as the military doesn't have a method to "untrain" and deprogram the damage we all suffer from...... Those of us in the group sessions are there to get help voluntarily. Sadly our sessions have been "paused" since early March..... Rumor mill has mid June as a possible start-up........

So that tangent to say, my sleep schedule is rather typical for me with a few shorties from the covid-19-mare effect we all get to enjoy.
:hugs :hugs :hugs

So sorry and also thank you!!

Thank you for your service. I went through Army boot camp '94, but was only in the Army National Guard for eight yrs. Grew up with WW2, Korean war, and Vietnam war veterans. Worked with them day after day hearing their stories in the bluestone quarries I grew up in.
Many friends and family in Iraq and Afghanistan. Heard more than once it helps to talk about it, don't hold it in.

Really ticks me off on what our Govt considers "essential", they definitely do not think with their brains. My SIL works at our county mental health, been shut down :he so many things shut down/ banned, but you can stand in line in a packed to the hilt store Wal-Mart Lowes Home Depot gas station Dollar Store....

I've been having that too!. I read everything I can find about covid, thinking "ignorance," is not bliss!" But it gives me tremendous anxiety. Think I will have to go back on the med I just got off of at start of year! OH CARP!!
Relax. Breathe in the moment. Meditate...

I haven’t had my support group in months. It’s sad, but I’m safer at home right now. I haven’t seen my drs either and I’m someone who has to go very frequently.
