I’m regularly flying down the highway.

I mean, I’d probably be dead instantly if I crashed at that speed. There wouldn’t even be a hospital or recovery.

You're too smart for that behavior. Suppose you survived but killed or crippled someone else ? Prepared to live with that ?

So what are we supposed to do, kill ourselves? sounds worse to me then any virus just saying. I have yet personally known any one who is dieing because of this virus, but I know many who have lost their jobs \businesses That may not be recoverable. I can understand how viruses could adapt from an animal to a human body but you would think with having more habitat around (which is what they promote) you would have more risk of a virus spreading form a animal to a human ,Correct? If evolution is real like they say wouldn't that mean we are part of it? so is cutting down trees is part of evolution and will evolve to what it's supposed to be, right? Sorry just a little confused? I farm for a side job or more of a life style. I bought a abandoned farm that was full of brush and trees and I re cleared the fields back to what they use to be when farming was a common lifestyle, I can't see no benefit to letting my field become a bunch of brush and trees for the environment. Because of the drop in gran and dairy prices They're are now many abandoned fields on my street and the only environmentally related difference I can tell is the increase in varmints attacking my chickens. I don't mean to bash you, I try to respect every ones opinions on things . I'm just trying to understand this from my point of view...
Not kill ourselves, just stop having babies at an unsustainable rate. Not taking that action, we are in effect, killing ourselves slowly and the biodiversity of the planet in the process.

I definitely couldn’t and honestly I hadn’t even really thought that was a possibility. I figured if I did crash, it would just be into a tree or guard rail or flipped into a ditch or something rather than hitting anyone else. Maybe that would be true but maybe I could hit someone too. Hadn’t thought about it like that. I definitely need to cut it out. I really don’t know why I do it and I wish I did so I could do something safer to replace it.

I've lost weight since this started. I’m down 12 lbs.
I was down 27 pounds at one point over the course of a year before the pandemic hit. I've gained 4 lbs. of it back since then. Our gyms opened on Monday. The one I belong to opened a new gym nearly walking distance from my house. They're open 24 hours during the week. I haven't gone back but hope to hit it 4 or 5 days a week when I get my workload caught up - or simultaneously. Since it is about 7 minutes away, I could get a 20-30 minute workout without eating up too much time.
I downloaded their app this morning so I can sign in remotely on my way there so it will be a contactless sign in.

Try walking or running in the neighborhood! Go fast! Leave the car at home!
Mary
I was walking a lot for a bit recently, like a few weeks ago, but then I stopped :hide I should start again! I just haven’t been as motivated to lately. But I need to. And/or maybe just not drive anywhere for a while until I go slower. I like listening to my music in the car though but I have headphones.

You didn’t think that was a possibility :th I’ve lost friends to people driving recklessly and yes, driving the speed you are driving is reckless. You’re lucky you don’t get caught in Massachusetts because they’ll lock you up for it and you will be heavily fined. Massachusetts is a commonwealth state and they’re harder on people, it doesn’t even matter if it’s your first time. Get caught by a state trooper and see how funny they think it is.

You’re going down a dangerous path and you’re going to kill someone or yourself. Maybe you don’t care if you die in a wreck, but I’m sure your family feels differently. If you were my kid I would take your keys away indefinitely until you proved you can be mature.

I know someone who killed my friends father... he knew him. He was speeding down the road. My friends father heard the car coming and threw his wife into the ditch. He was killed on impact... that kid is in jail for the rest of his life, he’s been there for 17 years so far. He was 18 when it happened. He killed his friends father... now he’s in jail thinking about it every day of his life.

I’m just eating so much healthier besides the random subway or pizza we get every few weeks, but even then I don’t over indulge and it’s all veggies. Then I do lots of farm chores which keeps me young.

@KDOGG331 sorry for sounding like a nag, but things happen and no one wants to see you locked up... plus I’m sure you wouldn’t survive it.
Nah, it’s okay, you didn’t sound like a nag. You’re right. I’m being an absolute idiot. :hide
