with a next wave expected, it will get crazy again
This is why I’ve been growing our own food from meat to veggies.

My dehydrator STILL hasn’t come in it’s stalled somewhere so I’m going to go buy a Instant Pot Vortex Pro and use that. Then I’ll have an air fryer again since it can dehydrate and air fry

I suspect so.
Used to raise all our own meat and veggies at my last farm, bartering with other farms for whatever meats I didn't raise, and only buying some deli and sandwich type meats from the store. Here it's been harder to do but I'm slowly getting back to that again.

Last Feb I started thinking about long term poultry goals and used this spring and summer to expand the flock to hopefully become a more self sustainable meat and egg flock.
I've also got a local lead for getting beef and pork without having to pay for the crazy high farmer's market prices here. Don't get me wrong... I used to sell at FMs and support what farmer's are doing, just cannot afford the prices right now and since I have land and the means, don't need to pay those prices either.

I'm not a prepper at all but am thankful for my aversion to throwing away good food because of excess, thus the preserving and drying that I do and shelves that stay well stocked.

Toilet paper on the other hand...

This is why I try to collect such things before we need them. We have a dehydrator, pressure canner, chest freezer, the garden, the animals, the grill, the animal tractors, supplies to make cold frames or hoop houses or a smoke house, plastic bins and buckets to seal up dried goods.... In a pinch and with a single day of shopping I think we could live here 6mo without leaving. Honestly, that's probably what winter is going to look like.

It will be cringe-worthy for sure. A lot of people got sick from Tulsa and some rather prominent individuals died. I can't imagine this going better.

Yes, but once winter/flu season hits it's going to get Worse Worse.
