My dehydrator came in!!!! But I’m not home I’ll be there in like an hour though and I’m going to dehydrate pears and some other fruit.

That's super exciting!! I've been quietly following along with the tales of watermelon jerky and what dehydrators to get. It's so neat to see.

Hubby and I are finishing the fall garden tomorrow, and I think I'm going to make shower melts this afternoon. After my exams are done next week, we're going to put together the chicken brooder + coop. they get here in 3 weeks and I'm so excited.

I rotated my trays halfway through process, and had them in for 20 hrs

And by the way my dogs are obsessed with the watermelon jerky they whine and follow me around when I’m having a bite.

Mine took 18 hours and I rotated every 6 hours I think. That was with my friends dehydrator and it has the fan at the top... my new one is at the bottom so that should be interesting.
