Just popping in here real quick, don't mind me -- this made me think of part of a prayer that I've heard: "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." Specifically, the last part.Nah that doesn’t sound crazy! I feel for people too even if they’ve done me wrong or are bad or whatever. I know that something must have happened for them to be that way and have so much anger etc. And in this case it sounds like this woman most likely has a mental illness too? Some sort of dissociative identity or narcissistic personality disorder or something??? To be so split.I hope she gets the help she needs too as well as those kids and that husband

I try to forgive as much as I can. I get upset sometimes, and feel truly angry when I read about things like what's happening with MROO's DD's boyfriend. Feel angry about the bad position that the poor boy is in, feel angry about how terrible his mother is treating him and how she has him cowed -- you get the picture. But I try not to hate -- I try to keep myself calm, and to forgive people as much as I can, even if they're doing have done terrible things; holding hatred and letting it fester for long amounts of time does no good.
I haven't finished catching up in this thread yet, but I sincerely hope that Josh is doing as well as he can, and I will pray for him.
Much love from up here in Maine!
