Wow, I am just chiming in on this one.
Has anyone watched "Social Dilemma" on Netflix yet? It explains a lot about what is going on with our behavior and how social media is affecting it. Very interesting.

Tried to watch it with my kids last night, but couldn't get them off their phones long enough to concentrate on it 🙄. So pretty much confirms the point of the film. Granted, it is a bit slow going and the shuttling between the (terrifying) interviews with Silicon Valley escapees and the weird fictional bits is a little odd, but it's an incredibly important documentary. Some of my friends have totally sworn off social media as a result.

I got off FB and Alexa when I got pop up advertisements on FB right after having a conversation (without having a computer or phone on me) with my friend about fixing my lamp. The advertisements came from online lamp stores....Very interesting, how did they know???

Yikes! That's so creepy. Our Alexa started playing music in the middle of the night a few times and so we unplugged it for good.

Interesting enough. There is a way to ask or order a report from Alexa or her software to find out about all the things she has listened to and recorded while in use (or sleeping). We personally haven't done it, but my tech friend has and it was very creepy. Alexa listens all the time...

Yuppers. NOT. A. Surprise. At. All!

Oh and on a different note. The phrase "gaslighting" is really starting to get a workout in the last few weeks. Seems a spade is starting to get called a spade in ernest.

Now if the msm could bring it to the next ethical level of journalism: calling a lie - a lie.

Case in point. Scientific research is not equatable to pulling a burrito out of the freezer and tossing it in the microwave oven and 3 minutes later it's ready to eat.

So babbling on about having a full-on ready to go; everyone in every state will have their dose by the end of October is so laughable, it's sad.

A petry dish sample doesn't evolve during the next commercial break on Faux gnewz.

I fully expect to see a honest and reasonably safe vaccine in late spring early summer 2021 and having it mass duplicated and ready for mass application in mid to late summer. Cell development or replication isn't anywhere near as quick as a sitcom episode.

Our school sent out another email update today...... Another addition for high school; 4 staff & 6 students now..... Yet the school's website hasn't been updated in a week. No updates from Jr. High or lower levels in a while.....
One of the two big Universities in town is also seeing cases pop up as is the Denton school district too.

Guess those hoaxers can't add to well.

Well, certain things can't be rushed, such as a vaccine. It is not like mixing Cool aid.
We have a family friend that is working for a pharma company in Germany. He explained the process to us. They do have a vaccine, they actually have several. However, there are still so many variables that have to be considered before they can unleash the beast. A lot of testing is being done. Are there side effects? What are the long term effects? Even when all these questions are answered, how fast can you produce a vaccine that has to be cooled? You also need the facilities to produce and cool the vaccine. Who gets the vaccine first? By the time all these questions are answered, and I am sure there are a lot more, we will not have a vaccine. I don't want to be the guinea pig for it.
However, I have heard, that Russia is willing to vaccinate, so I guess there is a way after all, if someone is desperate and can't wait....
I agree, we need a vaccine. However, it can't be rushed, it needs to be safe!
