I'm sorry to hear.... Sleep. Hydrate. Stay clean & relax as much as possible.

All of the above, plus sleep on your stomach as much as you can. It can help in keeping your oxygenation at the max level. It's turned the tide when some patients were at a critical level. If you keep your oxygenation up from the beginning you're marshaling all your body's resources to stay ahead of the virus.

Take care of yourself, Folly's place.

I decided early on that if I couldn't control my asthma or my age as potential vulnerabilities, I would damned well finally control my weight and reduce that one. I'll be in that process for a L-O-N-G time but my asthma is the best controlled it's ever been. I'm down to using my preventive steroid inhaler a single puff a day with clear lungs. Haven't used my albuterol inhaler in almost a year.

That's some great self care! Great news on how it's been going for ya. (High five)

Well done on your part.

Ya know, I really hate this crap. NJ has been so good, and now the positivity rate is up to 8.22 when it's been1.something for so long. I've done everything masked, missed my grandson's baseball games all season. Now due to the busy nature of my daughter's family we are not going to his birthday party, and Thanksgiving is in jeopardy. The Princess and I are great together, but I miss my family. :(

You're right! It's wearing and it's unfair and it's exhausting but there's no committee we get to appeal to.

Those of us who enjoy the company of the people we're confined with are the lucky ones. If we've got a backyard and an extra room for some privacy we're GOLDEN! I haven't seen my husband this much in 20 years and, on that level, I'm grateful for being shut in.

Hang in there, sourland!

...but I do wonder what effect all this will have on developing children. That said, I only wish we were as resilient as they are.

We too are going to miss more birthdays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, just this year. Who's thinking that at least early next year will be better? not better enough!
At least the political advertisements are done!
We can't watch the news for more than a few minutes at a time, too stressful. I check in occasionally, that's it.
Loving the great weather here this week!
Mary
