By that chain, then we're all screwed. Even if I locked myself in a bunker, someone would have to bring me food and insulin, so I would still be exposed.Because staying six feet apart by itself is not going to stop all transmission. Nobody has ever claimed it would.
The issue is, that while you are willing to take the risk, and the other people are as well, the people that you may inadvertently come into contact with later no longer have the option should you infect them. Does that make more sense? So, you go to mass, and come into contact with someone who is infected. You, while feeling fine, go home and infect your family. Your family, while feeling fine, then go about their necessary day to day activities. One of those we will assume is the grocery store, where they infect a clerk, who then infects their family that despite precautions taken, become infected. They then pass this to an immune-compromised individual. Do you understand?
That clerk at the store would still catch it from somebody. It wouldn't necessarily be someone who I came into contact with. It might, but even in the bunker scenario mentioned above, they would still contract it from someone.
