Ok @MROO last one for now...
For people who have extra t-shirts that did not make the cut for use in an actual T-shirt quilt, which I make, they can be used for a t-shirt blanket. I have not done this with a regular sewing machine, but I don't see why it would not work with a zigzag stitch. On a serger it's a snap.
25 kid sized shirts (grade school sizes) non-quilt worthy Ts made a full/queen blanket.

I'd do a row, get up for a while and go do something else, then come back and it was GONE! Look around and kiddo would be curled up on the couch with a partially finished blanket. It certainly made finishing a little challenging, but kiddo LOVES it. It's snuggly, drapey, warm, and best of all familiar! And, upcycled.
I saved the cut off stringy bits to tie up tomatoes and the sleeves for scraps. And I'm sure a better video now exists, but this is the one I followed.

Today I'm making my MIL present.... You know, the sort of present to make a MIL go "Oooh my son/DIL is so sweet and thinking of me!". It's a wood plaque/hanging sign with her name and a deer and trees wood burnt into it. The drawing came out good, hopefully the rest will too. I prepped the wood from slabwood we ordered for my fireplace. I believe it's ash. I planed it, sanded it, now I'm decorating it.
Pictures when you're done? Sounds really nice!

But, if you wander around the forums sub folders you run across several "state and country" specific threads and many other funny pages as well.

Cheers
NOOOO! DO NOT wander aimlessly around the BYC forums without supervision (or at least a back-up rescue plan.) You will end up hopelessly lost, sucked into the Chicken Vortex like poor Charlie, who never found his way off the train "Neath the streets of Boston!"

My garden club had our annual Christmas party last night via Zoom. We usually have a holiday lunch in a restaurant and then do a White Elephant gift exchange. Couldn't do that this year. Instead we dressed up in Christmas finery -- mine was a Santa T-shirt that said "Don't Stop Believing" and a sequined Frosty hat on a headband. We had a Zoom tour of a local house with 34 Christmas trees -- each was themed and had it's own moose mascot. We toasted one another with the bubbly of choice -- we don't do that when we're driving from a venue. Then everyone told a favorite Christmas story from their past. It was GREAT! So much more personal than sitting all lined up at a table talking to the people on either side and across.

I LOVED it and it set the mood for the next week! Merry Everything to all of you too!!!!

Yes! I showed off the earrings. You saw them yes? They ship out tomorrow morning. :)

The Italian part of the sausage is finished. 7lbs-ish cased, for friends and about 2lbs bulk for us. Tomorrow it's the breakfast kind and grocery shopping. We haven't had a proper grocery trip in two weeks. We're finally out of quarantine, technically. XD

@MROO
Remember, you asked for it....

Though Laura does quilting some weeks, she also has a lot of good videos for all kinds of projects.

Easy organizer hacks. I made the boxes with the tp tubes inside, and they are next to my sewing machines. Easy peasy!

And though I changed things a bit to suit me, here is the video I used for the idea for the feed sack totes. They also make great grow bags too.

Pshawwww..... You're gonna hafta do better than that to top the socks & slippers! I love the 5-minute crafts videos, though. I'm addicted to them, but hadn't seen that one, yet. I'm definitely gonna have to try a few of those ideas.

I can’t find it for my state.
California is tough took me awhile!
First you take your city and go to the county data. Your percentage of active covid is less than 1% of your population. ( actual is 0.7% which is less than 1 % ) math does not lie.
Take the number of active cases and divide into the population of that county.
less than 1 percent active cases-

Dang, you are a tough audience. Not sure I have much more that isn't heavy on the quilting.
The socks and the slippers are kinda the bomb, huh.
