Does anyone understand how Amazon works? I've just had the 3rd Amazon delivery of the day. On Sunday!

I know I shouldn't be out cruising 3 stores to see if I can find the arcane thing I'm trying to acquire but it CAN'T be good for the environment -- and, ultimately, the evolution of new viruses in a degrading ecosystem -- for 3 different trucks to be spewing carbons into the atmosphere to bring me the unusual size coffee filter I need AND the craft objet that I ordered a week ago AND the book that was recently released to the same address on the same day... Can't they plan these things out? I'd be more than happy to wait a few days and get 1 or 2 deliveries a week.

I think there's a setting you can choose for different items to come in the same shipment but you have to select it special and it slows your shipping on some of the items down.

Thank you, CM. I'll look for that feature. I Do. Not. Need. everything at the drop of a hat or I'd venture out and get it myself.

I find it upsetting how many people seemingly lack the ability to evaluate things critically with a modicum of accuracy, as their inability to do so is costing many people their lives. A while back, I heard someone mention that they think the coronavirus vaccines inhibit one's ability to fight off the virus naturally, which is patently false, and is a good example of how the deadly consequences of stupidity have been amplified by the pandemic.

There's something wrong with public education in the USA, when so many folks can believe idiocies like that!
As an old fogie, it appears to me that civics, history, and basic sciences and health are no longer mentioned, even at the HS level. Pathetic!

Here's a heartbreaking story from the trenches in the Covid War.

I haven't heard anything resembling it from my daughter but then she's been insomniac since she was a kid -- her son can be too -- so she may not register the same effect. I hope she's spared it!
