It is so frustrating that some people aren't taking this seriously. My area just got put into lock down AGAIN.
Vaccines are a rare supply here. Government keeps saying more are coming. They lowered the eligibility age again then said they are out of vaccines. Booking system is a nightmare.
Good thing I have lots of pets and poultry to keep me entertained.

We have plenty here in Oklahoma. Where are you at?

Seriously I know quite a few younger people who already have theirs. One 25 year old I know just wants to go on a cruise so he got his and had a bad reaction and missed several days of work. However he is still getting the second shot cause, you know, cruise. I think is readily available around here for the most part.

Plenty here also. I think it's more the cities that are running out. Here rural it takes a bit to find a place and time slot that will work for your schedule and how far you want to travel.
DW said most people must be doing what she did, make a appointment then cancel for a better one. Had one, then better time popped up, cancelled and switched, then better day switched again, then she saw the JJ vaccine available and a closer place, her and her mother wanted the JJ anyway so cancelled the appointment they had and went with that one for today.
This last Tue our 17yr old with asthma got the Pfizer at SUNY Oneonta college (it's a small city upstate) DW went with her and said there was dozens of workers there to vaccinate people and maybe ten people the whole time they were there getting the shot, no line, no wait.

Around here they opened up 4 weeks at a new place. I found out 3 hrs after it opened. 2 wks were completely filled already. Before the end of the day the whole month was full

Only the one positive coworker still, but we have a couple of other people out for other reasons + one who had a vaccine reaction of some sort. Sadly, the insanity at work has increased to a level at which people have expressed disappointment about their own negative test results as any reason to get away from work seems good, even Covid. Starting Monday, I can sign up for the vaccine.
