If mine goes up I'll simply cancel it. I dont need it anyways. Phone works great. Its a luxury item and always has been. They made it a necessity.

Technically people live without phone, electricity and walk a mile to the river to get water.... But we tend to think of them as necessities ... Can't apply for jobs, housing and lots of things without internet anymore

Actually! I just checked what our gas prices have been. A month ago they were 3.70! Now they're at 3.45! I remembered them being at 3.75 .. that's quite a bit down. Wow.

It's $2.64 near me right now. There were places in MO where it got up to $3.99, but never around here. I think I saw it go over $3 briefly around April or May. Like $3.05, maybe.

There are utilities and there are necessities. The internet was never considered a "utility" until now. You can still apply for jobs without the internet...just have to walk in and ask. Same as always. If they say "oh well its all online" just say "i dont have access to it" and I guarantee you they will give you a print application

I bought gas in mo near ROBERTSVILLE at 1.99. About a month ago

Most places do on line only now. When you ask them for an application they almost laugh at you. Home Depot, Lowes ,Walmart ect have computers set up to place your online application. You do have to have an e-mail account to find out if you're hired are not.

In Illinois Internet is a necessity but water isn't.
