My wife was vaccinated and still got covid. My son must’ve brought it home from school where they wear masks every day all day. Wonder how that happened.

I'm watching all these locals and tourists filling up the French quarter(bourbon street) for new years. Most are saying they are vaccinated not wearing masks shoulder to shoulder. It is a fact people can get covid while being vaccinated. Thats what I mean. vaccinated and believe they cannot get it and have it and unknowingly carrying and spreading to other vaccinated and unvaccinated. Watching it live right before my eyes.

Now you have to admit drinking is way to hard to do with a mask on and puking even harder. That was just poking fun.
You are correct and as time goes on more and more people will not care, worry, or think about Covid. The good thing is you have the freedom not to socialize with them.

Thanks for the link. I already know that. I wasn’t vaccinated and was sick for 3 weeks. My wife and son were sick for 3 days each. I am vaccinated now anyway cause I’m leaving the country soon however it’s still getting old and none of the measures are really working. Once you consider the economic toll it’s taking on countries around the world not just the US it’s laughable.

This is a great point. If you feel so inclined do whatever is necessary to protect yourself without pushing everything on everyone else. Making your own decisions seems like the best policy to me.

Matter of fact other than work i dont go anytime due to the rampant crime. The crime in the city is a whole other issue in and of itself

My brother lives in Louisiana as well. He said theres been protests and such. We have to be safe from more than just a virus it would seem...

Well I think the crime rate is much higher with all this Covid going on. No, cops or government to stop it. Maybe (here anyways)if there was another murder in town they would consider getting out of their cars.
