Well us taxpayers pay for all sorts of things for people that do to themselves. there are many illness that could be fixed by diet, exercise or not smoking.
Absolutely but insurance canand will increase your premiums. When you get out of docs office you get a bill. As far as I know, and I hope I am wrong but we the people are footing the bill for covid. That's fine for those who are trying to be safe. If we all tried to stay safe there would be less folks in the hospital racking up a bill for we the people

I truly attribute that to Mardi Gras. Your not going to get in each other's face all year just to find out you and your family is set up next to them on the Neutral Ground.
It's like any other big city, you just have to know where you are. In 40 years near the city and 20 years in the city, I've never been shot at or had to shoot anyone yet.
me neither but like you said I know where to go and where to stay away from but you must admit its alot more random (crime) than it used to be. Back in the day if you stayed out of certain areas you was pretty much good. Not nowadays

Uh oh you gone and done it now! Are you insinuating people shouldn’t stuff their faces with 14 hoagies a day? They should maybe quit smoking, exercise or possibly get some fresh air every once in awhile?
That place literally tells its customers that the food can cause a heart attack. People who've eaten there have gone into cardiac arrest AFTER eating there and still in the restaurant. But no one is outside protesting. No one is complaining about the scale outside that says if you're over 500 lbs you eat free. I'm no angel. I'm overweight too but I'm getting better. Changed my diet and lost 50 lbs. Everyone can do it. Its just hard.
