They're in the right state! I just checked the USPS tracking number, and they're in MD!!!! My mom is calling her "friend" (the supervisor who sympathizes) at the sorting facility to find out what's up, but I HAVE HOPE!

How was the sender able to send week olds? I thought they had to be less than 24 hours old, or older than like a month? I hope you got the babies okay, and there are not any problems from their trip!

The goslings got home! They came on the first mail truck to my PO at 3 AM this morning, after being cared for by the really amazing people at the sorting center.

I am now the proud owner of 10 cotton patch goslings.. But unfortunately I have yet to see them. I'll see them TOMORROW, and if my mom sends me pictures, I'll post them!

I'm thinking about naming them after the characters from Lost.. seems fitting.

shelley - Tom Walker usually only sends day old or month olds, but we had a bit of an issue with our order. He thought that saddlebacks were going to hatch, but they didn't. At the last minute, they pipped, and he decided to wait to send them until this week. He included a big stalk of lettuce for the older ones, and they were shipped guaranteed overnight express (er.. not really). I don't think they're any worse for the wear, but I wouldn't go about doing it regularly, it was just a special circumstance.

GREAT NEWS! I've been wondering/worrying about the goslings all night. I can't tell you how many times I've been checking in for updates this morning. So happy for your positive outcome. Pls. keep us posted. LOVE THE IDEA ABOUT THE NAMES...I'm a Lost die-hard! Perfect idea! Make the sweetest female "Juliet" - okay? And the Hunkiest, Hunk of a Gander - must be "Sawyer" !!!!! So Very Happy For You!!!
