*FIRST day pics on post 7*

My camera needs to charge, but once it does I'll be taking more pictures!

I have ONE that is the blackest I've ever seen! It's a tibetan ofcourse but it may actually mature darker than my darkest ones!

Theres two others very simliar to it but with more glints of red.

Theres a few tuxedos, and the ONE IS SOO DARNED CUTE! Named it Patch Adams.... you'll see why when you see it (well you'll atleast understand the patch part) most uniquely marked tux chick I've ever hatched that's for sure!

Several browns and A & Ms but that's no suprise.

I think 2 goldens....and the count is still going more eggies still in the bator. They started hatching VERY early this morning around 3 am and have been doing so all day long. I have no idea what the count is up to but yes some are DOA so I doubt I'll get a complete 100 batch, but Im betting close to it. We'll see though!

Also had some buttons hatch thoughsadly three have died, 2 are looking so-so and are drying off they kind of look like red breasteds...unsure though because seeing them on pictures and seeing them in person is different for me

If I only hatch out a few, or if this is it I think i'll just keep the darned things.. they are kinda cute... lol.

I swear every time I hatch quail it suprises me how tiny they are.. LOL. You think by now i'd be used to it.

PICTURES COMING SOON!

When mine first hatched, I was so surprised at how small and defenseless they were. Now, I'm just shocked by how big they've grown in less than a week and how much food they now consume. Did I mention how much they POOP?

lol yeah I have one coturnix chick that's just a few days older than these newlies and the difference is stunning. It never gets NOT suprising lol!

As for poop, well now that im also raising ducklings, I can say with full certainty that the messiest of messies is ducklings lol Least so far in my experience but not thier poo (atleast not yet) it's their water mess-making ability

but they are so darned cute... so they are allowed ot make a mess
