Coturnix Quail Basics- Information and Pictures Galore

Quote:
I found *one* lone clump of grass far under a rose bush today. I got all excited to be gardening, until I had a clump in my hand and had to figure out the "what now??" of what to do with it when I remembered the chickens ould like it. that in turn had me thinking about te quail-to-be and what they'd like.

LOL I wish we had that here... lots of tan dead grass some still green from fall, but if i even tried to pull it out i'd probably pull more mud than grass

I HAVE A SMALLER RED ROO THAT SEEMS TO HAVE A CREST, BUT ITS ON THE BACK OF HIS NECK---- AS IF HE HAD A CREST BUT IT SLIPPED DOWN. ANY THOUGHTS?

They look like wonderful little birds that would be a great addition to our menagerie.
