Coturnix Quail Basics- Information and Pictures Galore

The cortunix eggs I have gotten are about half the size of my bantams eggs, which are about half the size (if that!) Of my dad's standard chickens eggs. Mrs. AK had a pic of a button egg next to a dime, and they are about the same size. A cortunix egg is about twice as big as a button's egg.

well so i didnt just get out an eggie for no reason for picture time lol

Here is a large white (store bought) egg next to a jumbo coturnix, and next to the jumbo coturnix egg is a pharoah egg (pharoahs and jumbos are the same "breed" of bird just different size.

By the way i have some pharoah eggs that are the same size as button eggies
