How would i take care of the ammonia smell??? im planning on keeping them in the house probably in my room.

Nasty little bits of floating feathers everytime they get excited... Not something I would look forward to more than a few weeks. Im always glad when they are old enough to move OUTSIDE!!! As for state laws, I read that in Texas, a permit is required for Bob White quail but not for Pharaoh quail.

I was at a Trade Day in Conroe yesterday and am now the proud owner of 10 six week old A&M quail! I hadn't finished the quail pens at that point but boy did that give me the incentive to finish it LOL!
