Coturnix hens will start laying at about 6 wks. and don't need a rooster unless you want fertile eggs.

Chicken do not need a rooster to lay eggs neither!

you do know that Coturnix and A & M s are the same thing,right? Coturnix is the species, A& M is just a bloodline/ breeding line of the coturnix....

I have what I think is an A&M, well it has to be cause thats the only quail i have that are white, but this one is completely white with no black spots and lays completely white eggs. Is this a mutation of the A&M's?
