Are there any coturnix societies or associations? And -this sound a little stupid- but is there a SOP of sorts?

I keep mine on pens on the ground. If you want to keep the birds you have, you can go for quite some time if you have 3 males. Keep three separate breeding groups, and you can practice "spiral breeding".Is there any way I can propagate my small flock (17, currently) without introducing new blood?
I feel keeping coturnix (or any bird really) in battery cages, or even just nothing but wire, is cruel. Thoughts?
