Lil duckie making lots of progress so far ^_^ peeps, kinda cleaned itself, relaxing... doing good.
I moved it to my brood box with the heat lamp. It's 50w, is that reasonable? I have a dish with water & towel in it (safely covered in a way the duckling cant get hurt and that it helps with humidity). :-)

what are the temps in brood box? around 86-90 is good with a way for it to get out from under lamp. and you don't have to worry about humidity in the brood box. I usually keep my ducklings that I have brooded myself around 86-87* Book of ducks says 90 first week. Any more progress on the rest? and how's lil ones belly button looking now? So sweet looking too. Congrats!!!

Haha!! Oh I'm being patient this time, thats for sure. And lil ducky is up and on it's feet

great news. May even try to drink some water tomorrow and eat a bit of feed, do you have some poultry vitamins or save a chick to add to the water?
