I have two Black Orpington that that are now 6.5 weeks old. One is much small than the other.

Is there such a thing as Bantam Orpingtons? If so, how can I tell if this is one?

These babies are suppose to be from the same parents. My little one is about 1/2 the size of the bigger one.

Ok these are the best picture I could get right now

I "think" the bigger one looks like a rooster. Hard to tell since it is larger. That may be why its so much bigger than the other one. The small one looks like a hen.

Yeah I am pretty sure the bigger one is a rooster! Maybe that is why Baby is so much smaller

Well will see. Thanks!

PAX12, I did not hatch these babies so I don't know. That would have been helpful.

BUT My avatar is them at 1 week. I am not sure if "Baby" is a bantam if she would have been a small chick??? They were the same size until about week #3 then "Onyx" started becoming noticeably larger then "Baby".
