I have a lil bantam girl that was hatched begining of april, could she really be laying now?
I have my pen devided up into two halves, she and the other youngins are on the one side and my adult Australorps are on the other. But i have found small eggs on the adults side. If my bantam really wanted to she can crawl under the fence to get to the other side but is she really egg laying age yet?

I also have Australorps and they occasionally lay very small eggs. Sometimes there are no yolks (fart eggs) and other times they're just little. This is only my second year with chickens and I'm still learning. I don't think it is particularly unusual.

shes about 14 weeks now. I know its not what people call a " fart egg" it has a yolk and everything. so far i have gottin 2 eggs like this.

do fart eggs have yolks? How often do you get them? My adults are almost a year now, and this is my frist time as an adult to have chickens. Im really excited for my Americana to lay her first one
