My chicken is 2 years old. She’s on day 3 where she spends most of the time just sitting down. She’s not drinking water or eating her food, yesterday I got her to eat some pieces of corn and worms. I could feel her bones from under and notice the weight loss. Someone said my chicken could have coccidas and I should give her corid in her water. I wanna give it a try but don’t know exactly how much I would put in her water. Please help. Thanks

When was the last time she laid an egg?

Is her crop emptying overnight?

Any lice or mites?

When was she last dewormed?

Work on hydration first, electrolytes can be given. Once she's drinking, then offer a little wet feed.

Coccidiosis may affect older birds that have an underlying health condition. It sounds like she's sick. If you can get a fecal float from your vet, this will tell you if she has Coccidiosis and/or worms.

Yes, it’s the same one. Tuesday she laid an egg and her crop isn’t emptying, it feels like she has ate some food. There’s no vets close where I live at. And there’s no lice or mites I see. She also does have an odor now probably cause she hasn’t been taking dust baths. And I haven’t dewormed her. From the symptoms do you think you could guess what she might have?

Hard to know what's going on with her.
Since she's having good and bad days, the crop is not emptying, then it may have something reproductive.

Address the crop symptoms according to the article below. You can also give her extra calcium for a few days.
