We own a pet steer and a pet cow. About a month ago our cow, who is 18 y.o., suffered a vaginal prolapse. The vet came out and performed a sort of "caslicks" procedure on her; it held for awhile but she has since prolapsed again. Vet will be back out on Monday to try a different procedure. We're really hoping this one works. If it doesn't I'm afraid our next step will be to euthanize.
Any good thoughts pointed our way would be appreciated. Thanks.
