Count Down To Chicks!

We'll see. It'll suck if I can't, because I did want a few more than two Ameraucanas in my flock, but in a way it may be good because I was wanting to breed my rooster to these and get some pretty darn cute EEs. So it'll give more space for that. I just have to hope it is one white and one lav, and that they are both indeed female.

Lavender AM pics. 🥰

Adorable!

Have you used Cackle in the past? Just curious.
No, I haven't. This is my first time ever ordering from a hatchery.

I used cackle because I've heard good things about them.

If I was going to order from a hatchery it would either be Cackle, MPC, or Meyers. Possibly Mt. Healthy, but only if I were buying EEs. Not for anything else. And MPC I would really only go for for silkies and polish.

I've heard better things about the quality of cackles birds than meyers so cackle it was. :D

Chicks came. Only 4 alive. They added an extra, so five dead.

I've got the OEGB, the BC, a lav AM, and either another lav or a white AM. I haven't gotten a good look at them yet. Letting them rest.

Will get pictures later.
Wow. I blame the post office. Cackle has never shipped me so much as a sick bird. That's very unexpected.
