My chicks come in one week I am so eggcited lol. I got a blue laced red wyandotte and a splash maran for show and an Americana plus I am hatching chicks due to hatch on Easter

I bought some chicks and quail locally, and here's what I got:

- 4 French Black Copper Marans
- 1 Buff Orpington
- 4 Americaunas
- 2 Olive Eggers
- 1 Buff Brahma
- 1 Dark Blue Silkie
- 1 Black Silkie
- 1 Lavender Maran
- 2 Barnevelders
- 1 Mottled Japanese Bantam
- 1 Black Japanese Bantam
- 1 Black Tail Buff Japanese Bantam
- 1 Barred Japanese Bantam
- 6 Jumbo Brown Coturnix Quail
- 6 White Coturnix Quail

I'm also planning on putting some Lavender Orpingtons and Lavender Orpington Bantams in the incubator in a few days.

Sooooo I got pictures!
4 babies so far and another one is piped in the nest.

Can't tell yet on the black and chipmunk chicks but the one looks lavender so half orpington and ameraucana. The blue half or full ameraucana. The pipes egg is a phoenix egg.

okay guys I guess I am being a complete worry wart but I need some reassurance because I am stressing myself out!

as y’all know, this is my first experience ordering chicks, so of course I’m nervous… but today was hatch day for mine and the expected delivery date says Thursday!! Isn’t that too long for them?? Won’t they be weak and starving by the time I get them? I am so scared they will not all make it. I would be devastated to find dead or nearly-dead chicks in the box
