Who knows? All 12 of mine may be laying. The most I’ve gotten in one day is 7. Being hybrids, I figure eventually they will line up 12 eggs in one day. So, they probably are not all laying.

That’s funny because it seems the general consensus on here is that EEs more commonly lay blue eggs. All 7 of my EEs lay or have lain green eggs.My other Easter Egger was hanging out in the nest box today making weird squeak sounds! I didn’t expect her to be close to laying, but now I’m keeping my fingers crossed! Hoping for a teal or mint color…I have a blue egg already & an olive egger so it would be super cool to have 3 different shades! Maybe in the next few days?![]()
The 3 we have at the family farm, one lays a true blue, the other are more whitish-mint. And of our 3 Olive Eggers, two laid teal and one laid cream. The new Whiting True Green there actually lay a beautiful olive. Lol. I just enjoy variety. That’s funny because it seems the general consensus on here is that EEs more commonly lay blue eggs. What breeds? Also, well, I guess it's time for me to accept that my June babies aren't going to surprise me with eggs before the new year. Some of them are certainly getting their combs and wattles in, but not looking anywhere near egg layer status yet. Oh, well! At least they're cute.
