Countdown To Eggs! For June hatches 😊

Pics
Well, perhaps it doesn't have to be soon. As of opening the coops this morning, Athena is no longer interested in the nests and not bawk-awk-awking like she was all day yesterday. Fickle little stinker!
Ugh. They love to keep us guessing. In Oct my CCL showed all signs of being ready. Red comb and wattles, submitted to my roo, a couple times I got so excited as she spend 45 min-1.5 hrs in the nest box only to run out and have no egg. Then boom... Stopped showing interest, comb and wattles went back to pale pink etc. Ugh. They are getting red again so hopefully in Jan or Feb she starts for me.

For real! Normally I'd be like whatever, take your time, it'll happen when it happens... but right now I'm down to just one old Silkie hen laying one tiny Silkie egg about twice every three days, not nearly enough for our egg needs here! But, of course, I'm not expecting much from the Cochin bantams for a while yet simply because they're Cochin bantams.

I thought my older naked neck bantam pullet was laying for a bit there, but now I don't believe she is because I've only been getting the one egg confirmed from my Silkie hen lately, so as it turns out all of my 2022 girls are holding out on me! :barnie

June 1st Olive egger, which seems to be just an easter egger, laid her first beautiful sage green egg on Sunday! (She's the black one in back, obviously not the Orpington).
She skipped Monday then laid one Tuesday and yesterday🥰
She has not laid one since 12/30:hit
She was on the nest 12/31, then when I was bringing something into the run, I hit what I was carrying on the metal bar and scared her. :he She came running out of that coop! It made me nervous she was egg bound, but she's still chickening just fine. But she has not laid another egg since.... My biggest wonder is where did this egg go? She was definitely about to lay one! And she has not gonna back into the nest since:hit:hit:hit

So this morning there were 2 of these monstrosities under where she was roosting. One was a bit worse off and already broken and I didn't get a pic, but was very similar, a little smaller and rounder..
Looks like she's hopping back on the laying wagon and hopefully just needs another lay or 2 to work out this kink:fl

What am I looking at here? Is it hard, soft, frozen? Its been a few days now. Any more oddballs? Lash eggs can get pretty funky looking. Yours looks like a hard boiled egg.😆
