I get mine on the 12th of April!!!

Starting to get the brooder ready. Still building on the coop!!! How many are you getting? I am splitting an order with a friend of mine. I will get 16.

my chicks wont be here till april 13 grrrrrrrrrrrrrr oh well plenty of time to finish the coop

im getting 15. 3 araucana 3 barred rocks 3 buf orpingtons 3 silver faced wyandottes and 3 white leg horns if you go onto my profile you can see my coop in progressed just wired it tonight have to wait a couple more weeks befor i can move the rose bush from in front where im putting the run.

Well I had a missed call and a voice mail from Meyer this afternoon. Some of the breeds I order didn't hatch out accordingly. But because I didn't get the message until after 5, their office was done close. Hopefully, if I call them as early as possible in the morning, maybe my babies might ship tomorrow!!!!!

Still 6 weeks away, finished the electrical in the coop, finished the roosts, but we got another 2 feet of snow in the last couple weeks, and it was zero degrees at the house for the whole "spring break". (Here, we don't get spring, we get winter until a short season we call "break up", when the ice breaks up and the snow melts away. Then in one brief week, everything turns full on green."

Right now, I need break up before I can build my run! So I guess 6 weeks away is okay, I still need melting time.

When I see 'em, I'll name 'em.

Except the Silkie, whose name has to be "Wookie"
and the Cuckoo Marans. I just think "Cuckoo Marans" sounds like a name for a Mafia hit man, so she'll be named "Gangsta"

The Easter Eggers have to wait, I have no idea what they'll look like, although I presume they'll look like chickens.

And the GL Wyandotte? and the Australorp? and the Speckled Sussex? There's time to think on it....

Well called Meyer this morning. My Delawares, SL Wyandottes, Light brown leghorns, and Cuckoo Marans didn't hatch out correctly. I got 3 of each, so 12 total. I got a different ship date on those for May 30th, so I guess my count down isn't completely over yet. Especially since 2 of those breeds were 2 I was most excited about getting. Oh well, babies will ship today and could get them as early as tomorrow, but I would expect them here Thursday.

SOOO..... 10 more weeks for other babies...Their count down now begins...

Your coop is looking good!

I will be getting 8 buff orpingtons and 8 silver laced wyandottes. I am also getting 10 easter eggers for a friend of mine. I am really thinking of trading one or two of mine for a couple of her easter eggers.

Which ones are you getting?

In the order that shipped yesterday I'll be getting: 3 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Aconas, 3 EEs, 3 RIRs, 3 NHRs, 3 Dominiques, 3 GL Wyandottes. All those I ordered as Sexed Females. I also got 4 Sexed Males ( I don't have any roosters) I got 1 Black Copper Maran, 1 Delaware, 1 Speckled Sussex, and 1 Salmon Faverolle. Oh and a Meal Maker. So 26 should be in this order, then the others I mentioned in May. I was most excited about my SL Wyandottes and my Cuckoo Marans. I want some chocolate eggs!
