Country Roads

Don't know where your from but it didn't take long to guess in the south. We are in Tennessee and have the wild morning glory,Poke and deer. The poke berries are good blue bird attractors. Silly me I actually collected the wild morning glorys and have 3 or 4 colors going. We never had them in Okla.
I love walking back country roads in the fall. In Okla. they are all dirt or gravel, here they are all paved!Love both of them!

My hubby's paternal grandmother insisted Poke weed was called Polk weed. Cracked me up. I was too polite to correct her. And to this day, in her honor, I call the plant Polk weed. Yes, birds can eat the berries, and will poop purple excrement all over your car, clothes and anything that doesn't move.

Granny was a smart women,

Well, honk my horn! Granny was right! I enjoyed the video. Thanks!

Wild morning glories (aka as bindweed) can be very invasive. I can barely grow a garden because they take over and I am constantly pulling them off my rose bushes and my porch. They require constant care.
