Covering 20x30 dog kennel run

Sounds like we have the exact same issues! I’ll keep you posted on what I try and what works and what doesn’t 🥴
Sounds good to me! Like yours, I have t-posts securing corners, etc. I don't think I have to worry about raccoons but I wanted to keep predatory birds out as food gets harder to find, and in the event my birds got greater lift. The 10 pound ducks don't get much lift (about 3') but I've been sitting out there and they've surprised me by going over my head a few times. 😳

I’ve got my 10’ t posts up and just put a 12’ beam (sunk 36 inches and cemented in) in the middle of the run! Tomorrow is the moment of truth! The netting goes up! 😬 I’ve got some caps for the t posts with clips on them to hold the netting up. Hopefully I won’t need to run cable around the top but we will see.

I'm excited for you and watching! 🙂

I think you might find the 20' side coming up short. Meaning I don't think you will be able to attach the netting on both sides. The hight of the T posts and the center post is going to take up quite a bit of material. 25' of netting might not be wide enough.
Also I don't believe a single hot wire at the top of the fence will be effective. The predator will not get zapped as he's not in contact with the ground.
You might want to do some research on that before you add it. I'm not a hotwire expert, but there's lots of people on here that can steer you in the right direction.

Luckily, I got two of the 25’x50’ aviary netting so I can use my hog nose pliers and connect the two. Hopefully that should cover the whole thing! I’ll definitely look into the hotwire situation. I don’t know a darn thing about it so I’m glad you mentioned that! Thanks!
