I'm fully vaccinated.

It's funny, my sister refused to get her second dose because it hasn't been approved by the FDA yet, but like a week, or week, & half after we got our second dose it got approved by the FDA. We got the Moderna Shot.

Honest question, how'd you get it before approval? Test group?

We all were pretty much Guinea Pigs, taking our first shot, & being monitored for 15mins before we could leave. Got ours at Walmart Pharmaceuticals, & were given papers of concent to fill out, & stuff like that.

Correct. Currently, no coronavirus vaccine is fully approved by the FDA, but three were given emergency use authorization.

The reason is that the FDA requires 6 full months of data after vaccines are rolled out before they can rule on full authorization. So, we are just now at six months since the first vaccines came out in the US. Pfizer has already requested full approval and is being reviewed for such.
