Coyote Attack Help!

For infection...while treating the wound itself, the fastest healing will be by also administering antibiotics. You can order Tetroxy HCA from Jeffers Vet Supply (they deliver really fast) or purchase at most feed supply stores. I mix 1/4 teaspoon to a quart of water....use this as the only source of drinking water for 10 - 14 days. Mix fresh daily. This packet will last a very long time.

Shes doing pretty darn good right now. Her wound looks like its healing really well but it still has a little smell, its definatley gotten better though. She wasnt ever a people person but now that Im constantly around her, feeding, cleaning, and petting her, shes actually gotten to be extremely sweet. Hah. She still has a little limp but shes putting more weight on her foot now.

I was wondering, does anyone know about how long itll take for her new skin to grow? And with winter coming up, Im thinking Im going to have to keep her inside the whole winter.. shes missing her entire back half of feathers...

Ill get a picture of her soon!

It looks like you'll have quite a friend when she heals completely. I think animal know and appreciate the TLC and they reward us with lots of snuggles.
