Cracked Corn

How often should I give my chickens cracked corn? Will to much be bad for them? Thanks for any help.

Just as a treat in the summer it can raise there body temp. However in the winter I feed it almost eveyday.

Cracked corn should be given as a treat, which it sounds like you understand from your post. A couple of handfuls throughout the day should be fine, some people like to feed corn right before the chickens are cooped up at night to try to keep them warm, and give them time to digest it throughout the night. The only real problem with giving too much corn would be that they would not get as much protein and nutrients that are found in normal laying feed.

Only problem is that they love it so much it would be easy to give them too much
It is like candy to kids! and just about as good for them.
