Boy, I've been away for soooo long, there are so many new coool ideas!!!
Right now I am trying to recover from the holidays, start some major cleaning. Winter is a good time for me to do this as I can't do much outside and there are a lot of times I CAN'T go outside without shoveling my way out!
I helped DGD make a little purse out of altoids box summer before last. I don't think she likes how it turned out, she doesn't use it. Maybe I'll have her undecorate it(we glued fabric and ribbon on it) and redo it with one of the ideas from here. I loooove the survival kits, we are always going out and about up here. We try to teach DGD how to take care of herself outdoors if needed.
I MUST make the pincushions!!! I like the bigger ones also, the small ones are cute though, I could use one of those in a couple of places. I think I'll make one for DH, he has a bulletin board at his desk at work that he tacks things to all the time. If I can find some type of material that has construction type patterns(or tools) that would be perfect! These are also a very good way to use up those small pieces of fabric I can't seem to throw away(I usually give them to DGD for her trolls and barbies, but she decided she's too old for those now), I DO have several small pots AND know where they are!
Kids and DH go back to school/work mon. I will sit down and start a list of things to make then get started.
