I thought it would be a good mother daughter project to do together. She is so interested in sewing and crocheting. She can chain and a little single crochet but she's pretty new. I have her working on sewing some extra quilt block pieces together now.

Thank you. I looked at it in the store yesterday and it sounded good and safe to use with cotton.

Has anyone heard how Gwen's valentine supper went with the hands and the pearls? Can't wait to hear!!!

Hi.... Valentines went great...but the hands and pearls are for my Ladies Conf. in March (the 1st wkend) Valentines Banquet I had candles, hearts, an the white linen table cloths....looked good..oh, and rose petals scattered....then 2 other ladies hung stuff up...I've got pictures..just don't have time to download today.
got ladies coming from all over...the hands are going great. I received in the mail the hands from the store...they look great.
Lot's going on here.... still lots to do...getting excited.
I will try to set up a table...I'm wanting to see for my ownself what the tables will look like, and will take a picture when I get back. I'm packing to leave for a few days...my nephew is having a surgery in the morning....

I finally made new living room curtains!!! I've been wanting to for 6 years. Yes-it took me 6 years! To sew some straight lines. Need to change my title to Queen of Procrastination!
I haven't put the sewing maching away yet. I may actually accomplish something else this week! (We're all off from school).
