Crafters- What are you making???

LOL!! Those were an enormous hit last year!! I made a big one and gave away at our meeting in the spring too, forgot who won it..but I have one like it in my kitchen with potatoes and onions in it. Nearly everyone has left over chicken wire so it's pretty handy to make them..wire cutters and some needle nosed pliers and cut and twist and mash and you have a basket, lol!!

I think I am going to see if I can find some music rlated soap molds for the album bowls....maybe some music note shaped soap and a singin in the shower cd and a crocheted washcloth..put all that in a cellophane bag and awesome present!!!

Made soap today and thought I would share pics..sorry I can't share the great smell!! ...Peppermint and butterscotch....It's really easy..you all should try it for your Christmas gifts....

That's crushed peppermint herbs in the soap that I used the peppermint fragrance in..gives it a bit of exfoliate and smells great too...ya'll can do this!!!! Awesome gifts!

Gosh, I haven't given it any thought what with all this hatching and chicken/duck/guinea action I've had this summer!

I suppose I ought to finish that monster afghan I started a couple years ago. It was a ripple crochet for the king size bed, I changed hooks without thinking about shortening the number of chains and it's HUMONGOUS! I'd gone so far I couldn't just pull it apart so I kept buying more yarn. I think a family of 10 could probably stay warm underneath.

I think that would be plenty for me to work on this year!

Thanks ya'll! Very easy and great smelling and that gylcerin soap ..any glycerin soap will clear up problem skin like magic and keep it clear..the moisturizing is the secret but it works....even with teens of my co-workers and everyone I know..dollar tree carries Pears glycerin soap..same thing..try it and see if your skin breaks out..really works. But for Christmas gifts..what better than hand made soap?! Throw some in the "greenie" baskets everyone is making..very cool!!

I'm hoping to do votive candles, crocheted washcloths, homemade soaps, and crocheted slippers for my female relatives/friends. The men (as well as neighbors and co-workers) will get something from the kitchen and/or fresh eggs.
Come to think of it, I better get on the crocheting!

Hmmmmmmmmmm I'm not very good at making tons of things, but perhaps we should think about a swap with all these goodies.

I mean if one person (Scrambled) is good at making soap - perhaps someone can trade for candles, or ?

Just an idea for some.... I haven't figured out what I'm doing yet!
