I finally got an order in for soap making stuff.... so we'll see how this goes.

I also ordered some stuff to make bath fizzies/bath bombs my kids just LOVE those things.

Well August and September are the months I get serious about making my Christmas lists so I really will be going back through this thread and mking notes. I am def. using the album bowls...love, love that idea. Dollar tree has those cellophane gift bags you can sit them in and tie with pretty ribbon so that will be how I finish those..I'm thinking I will put a christmas cd in it..dollar tree..and some of that home made trail mix stuff with the m & m's and nuts... in it..that will be a good co-worker gift. Have to work on my list for family though...likely a big basket of eggs and a box of soap for my sil.

One year, after my husband and I first got married and all I could cook was stuffed bell peppers!!, one of my sister-in-laws gave us an entire mason jar box full of canned veggies, jellies and jams and my husbands' fav. - pickled beets....it was one of the best presents we've ever gotten!!!

I've been so busy... Christmas has become furthest from my mind

Can't say that I would have anything creative to add anyhow...LOL I'm falling back on ole' faithfuls this year

I'm going to make some of those little chicken wire baskets that were shown on here. They can be used for so many things.

I'm still not sure what I'm giving as gifts this year but it will be hand made.

I've had friends collecting their empty wine bottles for me and I might paint some flowers on them....or put a small string of lights in them and hang some charms around the neck.

I'll add more ideas later - I've been spending all my time taking care of the birds so far this summer.

This is a great way to make Bath Bombs - I just made a batch and they're really nice - I cracked one or two getting them out of the mold - but there are still some PERFECT little heart bombs!
