Crafters- What are you making???

I do the whole preserves thing from my organic garden, and bake realkly yummy (not at all healthy) organic cookies and such. But this yaer I also got the cutest little 4 egg containers and I will be giving everyone an egg of every color as well. YEAH!!!!

I do knitt but ever since my ds was born I have not had the time and the knitting needles make me nervous around him.

My friends say I am the new generation of Martha stuart lol, or a rock and roller Martha.
I love the holidays.

For Christmas I sewed my mother a blue pillow, my father a stuffed hammer, and my younger brother a pillow with his name on it.

Ok, now that my family's Christmas celebration is over, I can share the potholders I made for my aunts and cousin (she's a member here) for Christmas. I just posted them in the sewing/quilting club thread, too, so sorry if you've already seen them!

If they made unbreakable sewing needles that didn't bind up the string in the machine.. I could totally learn how to sew!
But, as many times as I try to learn, I break another needle...lol

It is probably the machine. I have never broken a needle since I got my Kenmore from Sears. I never have a problem with the thread binding up either. I had a couple others and they would do that. It made me frustrated as well. The kenmore was very inexpensive and I have made some beautiful items on it. I love to sew but just haven't gotten time besides small projects I have to get done.
