Crafters- What are you making???

I've painted my living room. There are a couple archways between rooms and trims that I want to paint/stencil.

Here is the one between the living room and dining room. I finished it this morning.

The flower pot is a picture that I transferred over and then painted. The ivy and butterflies are stencils.

Nice stencil work Farmer Kitty!! Love it!!!

can anyone suggest what they would use to to protect felted items from dust and such? I'm making some fridge magnets and I'm afraid that wool felt in the kitchen would become a dust-magnet and look greasy gross after a while.

Could I shellac them with something that will help them not be yucky over time. Maybe spray coat them with acrylic? If I can coat them with something, then it would be easier to clean them. And also reduce wear & tear.
But would shellac stick to the wool fibers???

Thank you!

When I have something I want to seal I use KRYLON's Triple-Thick Cyrstal Clear Glaze. I find it in the craft stores. It's for use on: Decoupage, porcelainizing, collage, wood, metal, plastic, papier mache, glass, plaster, ceramic, dried/silk flowers, paper, wicker, etc. It gives a really good coating and just air dries.

Thank you!

Does it spray on?

Yes and it doesn't have the strong smell like spray paints. Oh, and it's flexible so it wouldn't crack being used on farbic.
