I finished my 2010 calendars tonight and uploaded to MyPicTails to order 4 of them.

I have started a children's book and will be creating a school yearbook for my daughter.

I also will be making cookies in a jar, soup in a jar and taco seasoning in a jar.

Wow, I better get going!

I am taking a short break from my quilt, which will probably be done next week when I get back to it. Today I am trying my hand at my first apron. I would like to have one for Thanksgiving since I'll be cooking all day in nice clothes.

If it comes out nice, I may make 1 or 2 more for some friends I have who cook often!

I just finished making this birdbath from a casting of an astilboides tabularis leaf. I sealed it then painted it with concrete paint.

I have also made castings of anemone leaves for Christmas presents. It's really pretty fun and actually very easy.

Love the bird bath!!!! Awesome job!!!

Right now I am busy making Angel Robes for our upcoming Christmas Play. Please tell me what you think. I have 6 done and we need 21 all-together.

I added this to the waist to sorta break up the plainness (I guess)

Also, I have a great tip for those who buy a lot of fabric in large quantities. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday for some more white fabric. Well there was one bolt there and I had planned to buy the whole bolt. The 2 ladies discussed how much was on a bolt and came to 50 yards. They had said that bolt hadn't been cut off of as of yet. Well.....I asked that it be counted to be sure. The one lady looked at the other one and then they both looked at me like I was asking an impossible question.

Well, 1 lady walked away and the other lady started counting out the yardage on the bolt. I am glad I asked for it to be counted because they were thinking 50 yards was still on the bolt but there was only 38 yards on there. I would have gotten all the way home with 38 yards but I would have paid for 50 yards.

Remember.....have them measure twice but cut once if you are buying more than 5 yards. Just a thought to ponder
