This year we are short on cash so like the good girl scout I am, I am using resources wisely and dipping into the craft supplies from years of being a cub leader and a girl scout leader, We are making Doll Pin ornaments (Martha Stewart . com has the templates) we painted wooden frames, and will make some clay boxes too! I have had to purchase nothing and they are looking wonderful! I have moved those craft supplies from California to New York and now to Florida so it is time I used them for something useful! I will also dip oreo's in chocolate and sprinkle on some crushed star candies and add some melted chocolate to chec mix - I also made some russian tea mix for teachers gifts. The whole family is having fun joining in and I have not darkened the doorstep of a single store since long before Thanksgiving!
Last year I made sock monkeys - they were a huge hit!
