I have a zillion cookbooks too Amy & Angie...is that cream candy like wurhter's (probably did not spell that right!) those toffee candies?

Amy, I want em all! lol... I love cookbooks! All of those look great. How much are they gonna be? Hmm, maybe you could swap some on the whatchagot swap?? jk. Let me know when you get them up for sale.

The cream candy is like "Ruth Hunts" brand. Only, there was this little lady that used to live a couple of counties away that made it and sold it around here and it was even better than "Ruth Hunts" Brand.

the hard tack recipe i found best is the loranne one that comes with the candy oil. as long as it is packaged seperately on a card there is recipes for it and other candy with it. it's also on all recipes.com to. there is alot of great recipes there as mentioned before.

my mom used to make me irish potato candy when i was little i loved to make it with her. we did it the real old fashioned way,lol. when u roll it out and put the peanut butter on it u just roll up like a log and cut it to pieces so it is like a raw cinnamon roll when cut. we never did anything fancy full to them with choc after made. they were yummy alone i bet the choc added is killer sweatness,lol i may try it that way this year.

amazingly i don't own a cookbook or a recipe book, rotfl.. gosh i should get some though it would halp me with ideas for sure.

what kid's ideas r u looking for? i make lots of things homemade for my kid's from candy to cakes, bath thing to giftbaskets, murals and pictures to quilts. i love makeing them things and they cherish them and enjoy them so much more cuz they come from the heart.

I am crocheting scarves and hats. I am also giving homemade jam. Just the usual
