Crafters- What are you making???

Pics
Well, two endorsements sound good enough for me!! I'm gonna give the soap saver a try too..that would be really cute to tuck into a gift basket. I did make a couple of those scrubbies last year and they turned out excellent, really cute..be warned though..they use alot of yarn..I think I used a whole ball of that cotton yarn for just one..really easy to make though and I think the lionbrand.com site had the pattern, I have it printed out somewhere if not. Yep, the soap saver is on my "to do" list!! I still have about 10 vinyl records to get melted and shaped into bowls too!! Maybe this weekend I can get caught up....well, nearly forgot, I have a box of wine corks too to make into wreaths...never enough time.....

So glad to hear that I am not the only one with too many crafts (can there really be too many?) going all at once.

My name is Kimberly and I am a craftaholic.

I just made this quilted tote bag for somebody. I think I will make a few of these for Christmas gifts. They won't all be Santa ones though. I want people to be able to use them all year.

That is so beautiful! Was it easy make? where did you get the pattern. I love quilting and those would make great gifts for several people I know.
Just beautiful!

It was very easy to make. I found bunch of free patterns online, but ended up making my own. That Santa on there is quilt a block I had left over from years ago. I then added on to the block to make the panel bigger and used fusible fleece. I will look for the web sites with instructions. It was actually quite easy.

Here are a few sites with tote patterns. Once you understand the basic concept, you can easily make your own pattern. I used quilt blocks on mine and enlarged them to make the panels adequate in size. I don't have a good picture of the other side of the tote, but I used a smaller block and made it into a pocket.
