Hello, everyone! I'm about to embark on a project to honor my flock's first eggs! All 6 are laying now and I've been saving each of their first eggs and blowing them out, so I'm left with nice (mainly) intact egg shells. I'm thinking of creating a shadowbox or something similar to hang in my home. Has anyone glued egg shells to surfaces? If so, would hot glue or superglue work best? I'm leaning towards the latter.

Feel free to share any pictures of fun, crafty things you've done with egg shells! :)

Did you ever do this? I am doing it today. I wasn't sure what the best way would be to attach the eggs to the shadow box. The folks at Michael's suggested E6000 but said I may want to try it on a practice shell to make sure it didn't damage the egg shells. So I took a cracked shell from breakfast and added a dollop of glue to let it dry. I can only hope that if it does damage that it will be sooner rather than a very long term issue. Anyway, I'd love to see the final product if you did it!

Did the e6000 erode the egg?
